“…Perseverative cognition helps maintain a high state of vigilance, preparing individuals for fight‐or‐flight responses, and promoting adaptation to stressful environments. However, it may also have a negative impact on creativity and lead to emotional or health issues, potentially compromising physical well‐being (Birk et al., 2019; Wang et al., 2022). By this means, stress‐induced cortisol elevation enhances perseverative errors, impairs cognitive flexibility and leads to worse creative performance, in line with our results.…”

“…The importance of considering individual differences is further underlined by a study showing that individuals scoring high on the introversion personality dimension are more susceptible to the modulatory effects of tDCS on emotional reactivity than individuals scoring high on extraversion ( Peña-Gómez, Vidal-Piñeiro, Clemente, Pascual-Leone & Bartrés-Faz, 2011 ). In a more recent sham-controlled tDCS study on stress-induced creativity in healthy volunteers, mediation analysis showed that state anxiety explained more than 60% of the stress-reduced performance decrement following active as compared to sham bilateral prefrontal tDCS ( Wang et al, 2022 ). The modulation of neural excitability of the DLPFC was speculated to allow for more effective top-down regulation of the subcortical brain regions associated with anxiety.…”

“…Everyone spend most of their time on SNS [153], it helps to communicate around the globe in such severe and stressful situation. According to many studies [154], excessive use of SNS leads to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem [155], addiction, inferiority and superiority complexes [156], a large amount of cost spending on online shopping and deliveries, through many surveys and questionnaire [157][158][159]. According to statistics of digital world report (https://…”
