Transfer of Antimicrobial-Resistant Escherichia coli and Resistance Genes in a Child Care Center

Abstract: Several reports describe antimicrobial-resistance transfer among children and the community in outbreak situations, but transfer between a child and a caregiver has not been examined in child care facilities under normal circumstances.
