Transformation of IDH-wildtype glioblastoma to gliosarcoma with features of osteosarcoma

Abstract: Gliosarcoma (GS) is a rare variant of IDH-wildtype glioblastoma. It is classified as grade 4 in the latest WHO CNS classification of both glial and mesenchymal components. Gliosarcoma may arise de novo or secondary from glioblastoma. It occurs in up to 2% of patients diagnosed with glioblastoma.
