Transformative Applications of Machine Learning for Chemical Reactions
M. Meuwly
Abstract:Machine learning techniques applied to chemical reactions has a long history. The present contribution discusses applications ranging from small molecule reaction dynamics to platforms for reaction planning. ML-based techniques can be of particular interest for problems which involve both, computation and experiments. For one, Bayesian inference is a powerful approach to include knowledge from experiment in improving computational models. ML-based methods can also be used to handle problems that are formally i… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
