“…Zus/itzliche Stfitze ffir diese Bewertung des Erythropoietinmangles in der Pathogenese der renalen Anfimie sind die Ergebnisse frfiherer Untersuchungen, die bei Anwendung des in vivo-Bioassays an der polyzythfimischen Maus bei urfimischen, anfimischen Patienten nur in Ausnahmef~illen erh6hte Serum-Erythropoie-tinspiegel ergaben. [5,7,9,12,19,20,27,28]. Da in der Regel das Ausmal3 der Anfimie mit dem Schweregrad der Azotfimie korreliert ist [9,11], wird angenommen, dab der Abfall der exkretorischen Leistung der Niere begleitet wird von einer entsprechenden Verminderung der inkretorischen Funktion, d.h. auch der Erythropoietinproduktion und -freisetzung.…”
