Transhumance of sheep and cows is practised in the Balkan Peninsula (Cevc, 1972), but in Slovenia, it is called 'the Museum of Transhumance' (Matley, 1968;Kobayashi, 1974;Mihevc, 2013). There, the transhumance of sheep has almost entirely disappeared, although according to Shirasaka's fieldwork in 2004, the transhumance of cows continues.…”
