The objective of this work is to analyze the effects of combined temperature and moisture in a rectangular plate under hygrothermal loading using hygrothermoelastic model. The reduced differential transform method is used to obtain the solution of temperature, moisture and stress. We have demonstrated the efficacy of the reduced differential transform approach to examine several aspects of
the Hygrothermoelastic model. The results are illustrated numerically and graphically for porous composite material. From the study, it is observed that temperature shows a negative effect while moisture increases in a positive direction along spatial direction
under the assumed initial and boundary conditions. The stresses are affected due to hygrothermal loading.
