Transient States of Cyclic Production Planning and Control

Abstract: The method for determining dispatching rules for transient phases, based on designation of a local dispatching rule for steady state, which determines the rest of its components has been presented in the paper. The algorithm for determining the transient rules has been presented and dependencies resulting from the presented sufficient conditions have been formulated. For the proposed transitional-rules generation algorithm the simulation model has been prepared. Simulation experiments to verify the correctness… Show more

“…Generating (creating) the models could therefore be performed by users without knowledge of how to build the simulation model. In this approach to build a simulation model does not require the use of standard computer simulation tools (usually specific modules of simulation systems), which are used in conventional "manual" approach, because the model is built automatically using data analysis methods and algorithms processing [5,6,10,11].…”

“…The balance condition in the system is satisfied when number of elements entering the system in one repetitive period (common multiple of system cycle T) should be equal to the number of elements leaving the system in the same period. The system balance is accomplished in the case when the following equations are satisfied for the shared machine [7,8,9]:…”

“…Lack of solution provides information about the necessary abandonment of specified conditions of the order, or having to meet the needs associated with an increase in available capacity, storage space, etc. Sufficient conditions, include: system balance condition, buffer capacity condition and due time realization possibility conditionprocesses included in the production order will be executed within the due time required by the customer [25][26][27].…”
