Abstract:Case:
A 17-year-old adolescent boy with Gross Motor Function Classification System 5 cerebral palsy and neuromuscular scoliosis underwent posterior spinal fusion and segmental spinal instrumentation from T3 to the pelvis. He developed a right ischial pressure injury a few months postoperatively, which persisted despite nonoperative measures.
