Abstract: Unprecedented regioselective electrochemical tandem selenation/ cyclization of alkynyl phosphonates with diselenide is described here. These obtained selenoether products can be chemo-selectively converted into halogenfunctionalized cyclic enol phosphonates under our electrochemical conditions.
