Abstract:Superhydrophobic coating with applicable transmittance was synthesized by simple UV-curable method which was likely suitable for large-scale production. The super-hydrophobicity was derived from the component containing modified polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes which was chosen for low free energy and the potential to form hierarchical structure.
