Transplantability and therapeutic effects of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal cells in children with osteogenesis imperfecta

Abstract: In principle, transplantation of mesenchymal progenitor cells would attenuate or possibly correct genetic disorders of bone, cartilage and muscle, but clinical support for this concept is lacking.
