“…In addition, we assessed self-reported health status with the “feeling thermometer”, a visual analogue scale (VAS) with marked intervals from 0 (worst imaginable health state) to 100 (best imaginable health state). The feeling thermometer is part of the EuroQoL quality of life questionnaire (EQ-5D-5L) [ 12 ], a valid and frequently applied health outcome instrument in CF lung disease including lung transplant recipients [ 13 15 ].…”

“…In addition, the Study Team implemented a so-called “feeling thermometer”, a visual analogue scale (VAS) with marked intervals from 0 (worst imaginable health state) to 100 (best imaginable health state), part of the EuroQoL quality of life questionnaire (EQ-5D-5L) [12] . The EuroQoL is a valid health outcome instrument in CF [13] , previously applied in various LTX populations including people with CF [ 14 , 15 ].…”

“…The EuroQol (EQ-5D-5L), a generic, self-administered instrument was used to assess QoL [19]. The EQ-5D-5L is a valid health outcome instrument in CF [20] and has been applied in various LTx populations including CF [21,22]. The instrument comprises five health dimensions: mobility, self-care, usual activities, pain/discomfort and anxiety/depression.…”
