In knee osteoarthritis (KOA), treatments involving knee injections of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSC), adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (AD-MSC), or umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSC) have shown promise in alleviating symptoms.
