Transport coefficients of black MQGP $$M3$$ M 3 -branes

Abstract: The Strominger-Yau-Zaslow (SYZ) mirror, in the 'delocalised limit' of Becker et al. (Nucl Phys B 702:207, 2004), of N D3-branes, M fractional D3-branes and N f flavour D7-branes wrapping a non-compact four-cycle in the presence of a black hole (BH) resulting in a non-Kähler resolved warped deformed conifold (NKRWDC) in Mia et al. (Nucl Phys B 839:187, 2010), was carried out in Dhuria and Misra (JHEP 1311(JHEP :001, 2013) and resulted in black M3-branes. There are two parts in our paper. In the first we show… Show more

“…The finite part (boundary S GHY ) of the action turns out to be independent of this cutoff / θ 6 and the specific heat C v > 0, thus showing stability of M-theory uplift. Using the UV finite EH-action, the D = 11 SUGRA EOMs/Bianchi identity, as shown in 7 , are satisfied near the θ 1,2 = 0, π-branches in the MQGP limit. By solving for the equation of motion for a square-integrable gauge field corresponding to the U (1) sub-group of the U (N f ) group corresponding to N f flavor D7-branes embedded via the Ouyang embedding with an imaginary embedding parameter μ after evaluating the corresponding DBI action and imposing a Dirichlet boundary condition for the U (1) gauge field at a small-r cut-off, the Hawking-Page phase transition temperature from an asymptotic AdS to an asymptotic AdS-BH background temperature/QCD deconfinement temperature T c (much in the spirit of 10 ), will be been shown in a forthcoming paper 17 , to be given by the following .…”

“…In the MQGP limit taking g s = 0.8 the above yields T c = 175M eV , for μ = 13.7i, N f = 3. 6 , the DBI Action was worked out in 7 . Defining E x1 (q, u) = E 0 (q)E q (u)/E q (u = 0), the spectral functions in zero-momentum limit are given as:…”

“…In view of this one could turn the indication of a large SUSY scale as a possible resolution of the EDM problem of supersymmetric models. In fact it has been suggested recently [10,11,12,13,14], that one can go further and utilize the current and future improved data on the EDM limits to probe mass scales far beyond those that may be accessible at colliders. We also note in passing that a large SUSY scale also helps suppress flavor changing neutral currents (FCNC) in supersymmetric models and helps stabilize the proton against rapid decay from baryon and lepton number violating dimension five operators in grand unified theories.…”
