“…To account for the potential impact of this source of bias, we elected to perform a subgroup analysis for both primary and secondary outcomes including only those studies that employed rigorous follow‐up protocols 2,5–8 . Risk of detection bias in other studies was deemed high when follow‐up regime was less stringent or for a short period of time, 9–17 or unclear where not clearly described 18–26 …”

“…In equine laparoscopy, because of the dimensions of the cases, long instruments are usually recommended (Caron 2012) and thus are part of a typical equine laparoscopic set. Only a short period of adaptation is needed to master the simultaneous movement of laparoscope and instrument (Lee et al 2012), while the coaxial view and working direction may be ideal (Rhee et al 2014). We found it very easy to adapt to the absence of triangulation with two long instruments, and the simultaneous Single-port laparoscopic hernia repair movement of instrument and laparoscope resulted in the perception of reduced effort.…”

“…A few authors have also described the use of transumbilical operations for cystic ovarian lesions in small series of infants, whether laparoscopic-assisted or via minilaparotomy [ 15 19 ]. Only one other author has utilized our same approach in 15 children and adolescents [ 20 ].…”
