Transurethral Resection versus Open Surgery for Leiomyoma of Urinary Bladder – A Report of 2 Cases

Abstract: The authors describe two patients with leiomyoma of the bladder who presented with bladder outlet obstruction. The results of magnetic resonance imaging are presented and their management discussed. Complete resection was curative in both patients, by enucleation in the first case and by transurethral resection in the second.
