Tratamiento del tétanos con baclofeno intratecal

Abstract: El tétanos es infrecuente en nuestro medio y afecta sobre todo a países desfavorecidos. En el año 2003 se declararon en España 24 casos de tétanos (0,06 casos notificados por 100.000 habitantes) (1).Se trata de una enfermedad infecciosa, no contagiosa debida a la exotoxina neurotóxica de la tetanospasmina producida por la bacteria Clostridium tetani.
