Abstract:Hydatid cyst is a parasitic disease frequently encountered in the liver and lungs, caused by the larval form of Echinococcus granulosus. Occasionally, hydatid cysts can be seen in the spleen, kidney, heart, bone, ovaries and peritoneal cavity.
