Abstract:Objectives
Treacher Collins syndrome (TCS), also known as mandibulofacial dysostosis and Franceschetti-Zwahlen- Klein syndrome, is an autosomal dominant disorder of soft tissue and the craniofacial bones. In most cases, TCS is the result of a mutation in the TCOF1 gene. The incidence is estimated to be between 1/10,000 and 1/50,000 live births.
