The literature on Asian Americans with disabilities is mostly clinical (Bae & Kung, 2000; Choi & Wynne, 2000; Ino & Glicken, 1999; Jones, Atkin, & Ahmad, 2001; Serafica, 1999; Shah, 1997), with one recent empirical study (Parkin & Nosek, 2001). There are two studies on American Indians with spinal cord injury (Krause, Coker, Charlifue, & Whiteneck, 1999, 2000) and a book about American Indians in rehabilitation (reviewed by Marshall, 2001).…”
