Treatment of chronic presacral sinus after low anterior resection

Abstract: Successful treatment of a chronic presacral sinus after low anterior resection appears to be achieved by salvage surgery with anastomotic reconstruction in highly selected patients or intersphincteric completion proctectomy and omentoplasty.
