Abstract:Elderly patients with distal radius fractures require a special approach to treatment that differs from the one used for other age groups. This is due to several factors, such as the peculiarities of epidemiology, mechanisms of injury, presence of comorbidities, decreased bone quality due to osteoporosis, and unique quality of life requirements.
