Abstract:Introduction: Aggressive periodontitis (AgP) is a form of periodontitis characterized by rapid attachment loss in otherwise healthy individuals. Although different treatment options have been explored for management of the disease, control of disease progression and subsequent regeneration of the attachment apparatus are considered the ideal treatment objectives.
