Treatment of Low Sexual Desire in Female Cancer Survivors

Abstract: In their article reporting no significant benefit from bupropion in treating decreased sexual health among breast and gynecologic cancer survivors, Barton et al 1 noted that 50%-70% of female cancer survivors reported loss of desire. They conclude that "sexual function remains an unmet need in female cancer survivors. More research is needed…so effective treatments can be developed and evaluated." 1 No potential conflicts of interest were reported.
