Treatment of Placenta Praevia

Abstract: CORRESPONDENCE THE BRMThH 1071 MEDICAL JOU'RNAL fouind that the major difference between refected and nonrefected rats lies in a lowering of the pH of part of the intestinal tract, which in the refected animal facilitates the absorption of the vitamin B formed by the intestinal flora. The condition thus established is analogous to that normally found in the bovine, and the refected rat, like the bovine, is rendered independent of an exogenous supply of vitamin B.-We are, etc.
