Abstract: PLASMA INSULIN IN DIABETES MELLITUS BRmSH MEDICAL JOURNALThe first is severe and is chairacterized by weight loss and ketosis as well as hyperglycaemia; it occurs at any age, but mainly in the young, and their plasma contains no available insulin but renders the rats insensitive to subsequent insulin injections.
