Abstract: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a common cause of chronic kidney disease (CKD), leading to the need for renal replacement therapy (RRT). RRT includes hemodialysis (HD), peritoneal dialysis (PD), kidney transplantation (KT), and medical management.
