Treatment Outcome of Newly Diagnosed Acute Promyelocytic Leukaemia by All-Trans Retinoic Acid followed by Arsenic Tri-Oxide

Abstract: Background: Acute promyelocytic leukaemia (APL) is curable with carefully selected treatment protocol. Reduction of early fatal haemorrhage in initial phase of induction with cost effective combination of chemotherapeutic agents is considered to be the main challenge for successful outcome in APL.
