Abstract:Background: Thelifetime prevalence of obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD) is estimated to be around 3% in the general population. Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) are considered to be the primary treatment strategy of OCD in addition to psychotherapy.
