Trends and structure of regional poverty: The Samara Oblast case study

Abstract:Subject. This article discusses the issue of determining the subsistence minimum, as well as the variety of approaches to assessing the poverty rate. The article considers the Samara Oblast as a case study.
Objectives. The article aims to develop recommendations for reducing poverty.
Methods. For the study, I used dynamic, structural, and comparative analyses, as well as the SWOT and PEST analyses methods.
