Abstract:Trends in Time-of-Flight Parameters with Application to Autoionization Lifetime Measurements. (April, 2012) Seth Hafferkamp, Wesleyan University A Time-of-Flight (TOF) experiment is studied in detail and a Monte-Carlo simulation program is used to analyze trends in TOF spectra obtained from ionization of sodium. Comparisons are made to the experiment in order to find a NOMENCLATURE Name Value Description Geometry d e 1.93 cm Length of extraction region s 0 .95 cm v TABLE OF CONTENTS
