Trends of Hypnotic Medication Use in A 2000-Bed Medical Center in Taiwan

Abstract: A 7 1 9 -A 8 1 3 A721 one year post-discharge and compared between cohorts who receive and did not receive guideline recommended care using a probit regression model with instrumental variables. Results: One-fourth (29%) of the patients with COPD-related hospitalizations/ED visits were identified as recipients of the guideline recommended care. Receiving guideline recommended care was associated with a reduction of 4.4 percentage points in the probability of having subsequent COPD exacerbation requiring hospit… Show more

“…First, the stations' data were analysed using statistical linear regression (i.e., Regression analysis fitted a linear regression equation to the time series graphs). The regression slopes were tested for significance using the nonparametric Sen's slope and Mann–Kendall's test which is highly recommended by World Meteorological Organization (WMO) (Partal and Kahya, 2006; Lin et al ., 2014) in long‐term studies. It is useful in analysing the collected consistently monotonic increasing or decreasing tendencies time series (Zhang et al ., 2010).…”
