Trends of paediatric head injury and acute care costs in Australia

Abstract: Aim Paediatric head injuries (PHI) are the most common cause of trauma‐related emergency department (ED) presentations. This study sought to report the incidence of PHI in Australia, examine the temporal trends from 2014 to 2018 and estimate the patient and population‐level acute care costs.
