Tribological Behavior of Co-WC Composite Coatings

Abstract: A novel Co-WC composite coating was deposited on the surface of high speed steel (HSS) substrate by an energy-efficient method of electrodeposition. The effects of process parameters on friction and wear properties of the composite coatings were evaluated, and the worn morphologies of Co-WC composite coatings were investigated by scanning electron microscopy.
