Abstract:Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) and hydroxyapatite (HAp) are the two most promising biocompatible materials used in biomedical applications. The current research performs the wettability and tribological characterization of the novel hybrid biocomposite of PMMA reinforced with eggshell-derived, silver-doped hydroxyapatite (HAPAg).
