Abstract:In this paper, we present a modeling method to build human models. A human model is divided into different parts. For each part, cross-section curves are created and approximated with trigonometric series. All parts are constructed from these trigonometric curves and assembled together to create the whole human model. Since surface creation of human models is transformed into generation of cross-sectional curves and few design parameters are required to describe these cross-sectional curves, our approach can d… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
