Trimming: A Fast, Efficient Method for Improving Manufacturing Processes

Abstract: This paper presents the Trimming Technique™, an alternative to standard methods for improving manufacturing processes. The basic goal of this method is to reduce the number of necessary manufacturing operations by eliminating carefully selected operations. The functions of the eliminated operations are then redistributed among the remaining operations.
