Abstract:Mitochondria play a crucial role in mediating apoptosis and have emerged as a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of cancer. Nevertheless, exploration of mitochondrial apoptosis as a mechanism for anticancer activity in vitro remains notably sparse. Herein, the ligands 4′,4″′‐(phenylazanediyl)bis(([1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4‐carboxylic acid)) (H2L1) and 4′,4″′‐(phenylazanediyl)bis(3‐fluoro‐[1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4‐carboxylic acid) (H2L2) were synthesized and further combined with organotin precursors and auxiliary l… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
