Triple chaotic image scrambling on RGB – a random image encryption approach

Abstract: Multimedia is ruling the digital era where data storage and transmission have gained huge importance. The refuge of such data transfer has been a chief apprehension and becomes the study in the limelight, probably, forever. The universal phenomenon is to send the desired data in disguise so that only the beneficiary can avail it. In this paper, a combination of space‐filling curve with chaos has been used for encryption process. Initially, three chaotic sequences were generated using Chua's equations followed … Show more

“…Factors such as type of images, and the sizes of images are taken into consideration for accurate comparisons. The results of comparisons in Table 3 show that the proposed scheme is comparable with reference [15]. However, comparing the proposed algorithm with other algorithms presented in the literature shows that it compares well and its performance is good.…”

“…Also, in Table 5 comparisons of NPCR, UACI and MAE values for the proposed algorithm with that presented in references [15,17] for different images. These images are Peppers, Lena, and Greens that have the same pixels size which is 256 × 256 pixels.…”
