Abstract:Euphorbia caudicifolia Haines (Euphorbiaceae) is a short shrub growing mainly in the dry regions of India and Pakistan. Its latex is used in the folk medicine as purgative, rubefacient, and expectorant, while the root is antispasmodic (1, 2).
