Abstract: The design of trivalent metal complexes involves choosing suitable ligands that can bind to the metal and confer the desired properties. In this study, novel trivalent metal complexes (TVMCs) of Ru, Fe, and Cr were synthesized from a newly developed hydroxy-rich Schiff base ligand (LH2) derived from 4,4'-oxydianiline with 2, 4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde, which is referred to as N, N`-bis [ 2,4-dihydroxyphenyl-methylidene] 4,4'-oxydianiline (LH2).
