“…The acclaimed neem tree (Azadirachta indica), for instance, has been found to be effective against tuberculosis and skin infections (Vietmeyer, 2002), pests and nematodes of livestock (Schmutterer, 1989), malaria due to Plasmodia falciparum infection (Khalid et al, 1986), Setaria cervi infection of cattle (Vandna et al, 2005) and coccidiosis of chicken (Biu, 2008). A decade ago, it was reported to have trypanocidal efficacy (Nok et al, 1993).
