Tuaimenal A, a meroterpene from the Irish deep-sea soft coral Drifa sp., displays antiviral and antiproliferative bioactivity.

Abstract: Cold water benthic environments are a prolific source of structurally diverse molecules with a range of bioactivity against human disease.
