Tuberculosis in otherwise healthy adults with inherited TNF deficiency

Abstract: Severe defects in human IFNγ immunity predispose individuals to both Bacillus Calmette–Guérin disease and tuberculosis, whereas milder defects predispose only to tuberculosis1.
