Abstract: Background Pregnancy has been associated with elevated incidence of tuberculosis disease. Since 2014, people living in Sweden with origin in tuberculosis-endemic countries are offered screening for tuberculosis infection in antenatal care (ANC) using Quantiferon-TB assays.
