Abstract: ImportanceMolecular subtypes of HPV-associated Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC), named IMU (immune strong) and KRT (highly keratinized), are well-recognized and have been shown to have distinct mechanisms of carcinogenesis, clinical outcomes, and potentially differing optimal treatment strategies.
