Tumour angiogenesis and tumour cell proliferation as prognostic indicators in gastric carcinoma

Abstract: Summary Tumour growth depends on neovascularisation and tumour cell proliferation. Factor VIII-related antigen (F-VIII RA) localises to vascular endothelium. Expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) is correlated with cell proliferation.
