Tunable engineering of photo- and electro-induced carrier dynamics in perovskite photoelectronic devices

Abstract: The last decade has witnessed great progress in photovoltaic technology based on organometal halide perovskites because of their low nonradiative recombination loss, long carrier lifetime, and long diffusion length. The excellent optical properties and easy preparation of organometal halide perovskite-based photovoltaic products enable their wide applications in electro-optical and opto-electrical conversions. In this review, photoinduced free carriers, exciton recombination, and diffusion properties of perovs… Show more

“…The V bi of the target was enhanced from 1.11 to 1.16 V, indicating more efficient charge separation and Angewandte Chemie carrier transport. [18,68] Dark-state I-V tests were typically performed to evaluate the charge accumulation and extraction capabilities at interfaces in devices. The target device exhibited a lower dark current and a greater extraction slope under forward bias than the control device (Figure 3f), further indicating more efficient charge extraction and less charge accumulation after doping.…”

“…[1][2][3][4] In particular, metal halide perovskites (MHPs) exhibit excellent electro-optical, photoelectrical, and all-optical conversion characteristics. [5] All-optical conversion means the high-energy photons can be converted to low-energy photons with the frequency change. They can be potentially used in solar cells, [6][7][8][9][10][11] lightemitting diodes (LEDs), [12,13] X-ray detection applications, [14] Review Structural Symmetry Impressing Carrier Dynamics of Halide Perovskite biomedical applications, [15] and piezoelectric and pyroelectric devices [16] owing to their large light absorption coefficients, [17] tunable bandgaps, [18,19] long carrier transport distances, [20,21] and high carrier mobilities.…”

“…In recent years, a large number of non-linear optical (NLO) materials have been investigated for their potential use in photoelectronic devices (Zhang et al, 2022), optical information processing (Wu et al, 2020) and optical communication (SOROKINA et al, 2016). In particular, large attention has been paid to the development of simple and accurate measurement techniques, with emphasis on measurement sensitivity.…”
