Tungstic acid-functionalized polycalix[4]resorcinarene as a cavity-containing hyper-branched supramolecular and recoverable acidic catalyst in 4H-pyran synthesis
Abstract:A 3D porous organic polymer was synthesized using a calix[4]resorcinarene macrocycle. The cavity-containing polymer was modified with inorganic Brønsted acid (OWO3H) to simultaneously use host-guest and acidic aspects of this catalyst in 4H-pyrans.
